The Alkaline Water Company Reports Record Fiscal Third Quarter Revenue of $10.2 Million

On a February 16, 2021 conference call, the Alkaline Water Company announced that revenue has increased $1.7 million year-over-year to finally become $10.2 million for the fiscal third quarter that ended December 31, 2020.

This indicates that the Company’s growth has been momentous, with a 20% increase each year. Fiscal 2021 third-quarter earnings per share improved by 14.3% compared to the prior-year quarter. This is in part due to the fact that Company’s A88CBD™ line expands nationwide through partnerships with KeHE, UNFI, BettermentRS, and broker C.A. Fortune. A88CBD™ products are available in approximately 300 retail locations, including Elevated Wellness CBD, Amazon, and Vitamin Plus. The Company’s flagship brand, Alkaline88® is available in over 75,000 stores across the United States, including Sprouts, 99 Cent Only Stores, and HomeGoods.

New Developments For A88 & E-Commerce

Along with new partnerships and continued product expansion into new retail locations, the Company also had significant developments, including:

  • Enhanced digital customer experience by adding new content and features to
  • Featured and showcased the A88 family of products at various national expos and tradeshows

  • Launched Direct Store Delivery (DSD) strategy with Mahaska

  • Added C.A. E-Comm to support e-commerce growth

Additionally, Wright expressed, “Based on 13 week Nielsen scanner data ending 12/26/20, we continue to be the fastest-growing top 10 value-added water in the country. We outperform the category volume growth by almost 2 times and the unit growth by over 5 times. We are now the 8th largest vendor in the category.”

The Company’s continued growth will be bolstered by new initiatives like international expansion and continued development in the hospitality industry. To date, they have ranked #1 best-selling national brand by units sold at the 2020 KeHE Holidays of Hope show and the KeHe Winter Virtual Show. Alkaline88® remains the #1 selling bulk alkaline water nationally. 

Big things are on the way, with Right saying that by 2022 the Company is positioned to be an omnichannel lifestyle brand. He stated, “We have tested and will expand on programs that have shown extraordinary ROI’s in our test markets.
